The Cowboy rides again, y’all.

With 7 years of crafting each vintage of our uncut, unfiltered bourbon whiskey under his belt, Donnis has really outdone himself this time for the 8th release of our most legendary bourbon.

This year, Cowboy starts with a selection of 8 and 9-year old barrels. Donnis likes to call them “Summer Survivors”, as these 25-gallon barrels have managed to persevere through nearly a decade in the searing Texas heat. And while angels have taken all but a gallon or two of juice from each barrel, what they’ve left behind is absolutely heavenly.

Clocking in at a whopping 134.8 proof, there’s no doubt that the Texas climate has worked its magic once again. Despite this incredible proof, Donnis believes it’s probably the sweetest Cowboy yet, and thanks to be being bottled uncut and unfiltered, it’s as close as you can get to drinking it straight out of the barrel.

Bottles will be $249.99 (or around $273 with tax), and will be limited to just one per person over the age of 21. If you’re unable to make it to the ranch, we will also be having a retail release in the weeks following this event, so keep an eye out at your favorite local retailer.

After you’ve snagged your bottle of Cowboy, make sure to stick around for breakfast offerings from the Whiskey Shack, limited-edition cocktails available for purchase while supplies last, early opening at the gift shop, and toe-tapping tunes from two different bands.

As with our other releases this year, we respectfully ask that no guests camp overnight in their cars, and that no guests take to the skies to reach the distillery in helicopters. As much as we’d love to party with y’all through the night, having that many bourbon fans at once can be a bit too much for little old Hye-Albert Road to handle.
