Selected after participation in the Bourbon Takeover Of Texas, these 5 Mixologists are battling it out for a spot in the finals and a $10,000 prize by Good Bourbon for a Good Cause.
April 18th, 2019 – The following competitors will be representing their city and state and showcasing their talents behind the bar!
Shakers will shake, bottles will spin and muddlers will muddle until only one competitor emerges, victorious. Come and support your local cocktail-crafting hero!
You will have access to cocktails from each of the semi-finalists as well as free beer, wine, and bites.
Donations are $20 and the ticket sales go to Good Bourbon for a Good Cause, a 501c3 public charity.

4 drops mole bitters
Stirred and served over a rock with a hearth grilled orange

1.5 oz Garrison Brothers
1 oz. Aperol
1.5 oz Charred and Spiced Pineapple Marmalade
1 oz. Lime Juice
.75 oz Fixe Simple
Charred Pineapple and Pineapple Spike to Garnish
20% Salt Solution (see Prep Recipe) 6 drops
Bitter Truth Orchard Street Shrub 1 pipette
.75 oz Lemon juice
.75 oz Corn Syrup (see Prep Recipe)
.5 oz Lustau Amontillado Sherry
1.5 oz Garrison Brother’s Small Batch Bourbon

.75 Grapefruit Oleo and Pink Peppercorn Syrup (Take 1 cup of sugar and the peels of three grapefruits, let sit for 12 hours. After add 1 cup of warm water and strain. Blend with 2 teaspoons pink peppercorns for 30 seconds. Strain again.)
-Shaken and strained into a footed collins glass with cracked ice cubes. Top with Lone Pint’s Yellow Rose IPA.
Garnish with a grapefruit wheel with a sparkler skewered through and a metal straw.
