Ted Wagner

US Air Force
Garrison Brothers, thank you for honoring our heroes. This nomination is for a man, son, brother, husband, father and PaPa who protected our country from a cockpit. Major Theodore M. Wagner, retired United States Air Force aviator, dedicated 20 years of his life (1987–2007) defending the freedoms we enjoy every day. As a B-52 and B-1 bomber aviator, he logged over 5,000 flight hours, flew 21 combat missions over enemy territory during Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning a USAF Air Medal. Those hours weren’t easy. Every mission—combat or training—meant risk, pressure, and the possibility of not coming home. Major Wagner accepted that risk, not for recognition, but out of duty to his fellow Americans and love of country. His career reflects courage, confidence, and sacrifice. Please raise a glass to his badass bravery and commitment… “Here’s to those who fly into danger so the rest of us can sleep well and live free.” 🇺🇸
