Howie Bantle

I am nominating Howard (Howie) Bantle for his military service and his service to the local community. Howie served as an officer in the US Army from 2015 through 2022 and was a part of the Battle of Mosul in 2016 to 2017. Since leaving the military he has served as an elementary school teacher, recently winning the Sunshine of the Month for being an optimistic and positive teacher for all students at his school. He takes the leadership, service, compassion and strength that he learned while in service and uses that to impact the lives of every student he comes across. Additionally, Howie involves himself in the local community – always willing to help out a neighbor or host a whiskey night for the neighborhood. A loving husband and dog dad, Howie embodies the spirit of an American hero!
