Hye Note Concert Featuring Chad Boyd
An Abilene native and Marine Corps veteran, Singer-Songwriter Chad Boyd’s background spans oil fields, ranches, and countless stages across the state. For nearly 25 years, he has traveled Texas with his guitar, honing his craft as a storyteller through country-folk songs shaped by lived experience and hard-earned perspective.
Drawing from a life spent among dreamers, workers, soldiers, and wanderers, Boyd has written dozens of songs that reflect both the roads he’s traveled and the people he’s met along the way.
Now based in the Texas Hill Country after notable chapters in the Panhandle and Brazos Valley, Boyd remains a respected collaborator and a sought-after presence within the Lone Star State’s music community. His work continues to offer a powerful blend of edge, meaning, and deeply personal songwriting.
