Russell “Rusty” Clark started his military service in the corps at Texas A&M University with the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. After graduation in 1998, he joined the Texas Army National Guard. Shortly after the events of September 11, 2001, he left his wife and family to serve our country in Afghanistan for 14 months. After returning home and numerous station changes, Rusty retired from the Army National Guard after a 28-year career in 2025. He promptly started working with Cornerstone Restoration (cornerstonerestoration.org) helping repair people’s homes and properties who can’t afford to help themselves. As busy as he stays, he is always there for his family and friends, and is a true man of God. This man is one of the best people I know, and I’m beyond proud to call him family.
