After serving 30 of active duty, SGM Jenderseck medically retired in 2022. He has deployed numerous times to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria Jordan, and South Korea. Following retirement, he began volunteering with numerous veteran organizations to assist with their community outreach programs. He is currently active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5263, Warriors for Freedom Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, and Folds of Honor. His ability to overcome his injuries and illnesses incurred in a combat theater represent the type of warrior and man he is. Even though he is retired, he feels an obligation to those he had the privilege of serving and leading, as well as others who have sworn to protect our nation. He is truly deserving of this recognition and would appreciate the opportunity to be recognized, even though he is extremely humble and will not take credit for his sacrifices or efforts to our nation and community. He is a fan of Garrison Brothers and recently took a vacation to visit the distillery by himself just to get away for a short time.
