About the Jet Set
A bright, bittersweet strawberry sour. Fresh strawberries and mint are muddled with Garrison Brothers HoneyDew, then shaken with Aperol, lemon and a little simple syrup. Add egg white or aquafaba for a silky foam, or leave it out for a lighter sip.
What is aquafaba?
The liquid from a can of chickpeas. It foams like egg white when shaken, so it's a vegan-friendly swap.
Do I need to dry shake?
Only if you're adding egg white or aquafaba. Shake once without ice to build the foam, then again with ice. Use fresh eggs or pasteurized egg whites.
Can I use Small Batch instead of HoneyDew?
Yes. Small Batch makes it drier and bolder. HoneyDew's honey rounds out the Aperol.
