When is the pre-sale and release?
The presale runs from July 27, 2026, through August 10, 2026, while supplies last.
Hye Rye is anticipated to be released in October 2028. Please note that the release date is subject to change. All bottles must be picked up in person at Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas. Bottles cannot be shipped.
How many bottles can I buy?
Each customer may buy up to four (4) bottles during the presale.
Why is there a two-year wait?
The whiskey is already aging in our barrel barns and needs time in the Texas heat to develop the character Hye Rye is known for.
How much does Hye Rye cost?
Hye Rye is $99 per bottle, plus applicable sales tax. Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase, and no additional payment will be required at pickup.
Can I purchase other items during the pre-sale?
Hye Rye Pre-Sale bottles can only be picked up at the distillery in Fall 2028 (exact date TBA). To prevent fulfillment delays for other items, please complete checkout for the Hye Rye Pre-Sale bottles separately, without any other items in your cart.
What if my email address changes?
If your email address changes before the release, please contact hyeryepresale@garrisonbros.com so we can update your order information. We’ll email you with updates and pickup instructions as the release approaches. Please make sure the email address associated with your order stays up to date.
Can my bottles be shipped?
No. Due to state regulations, presale bottles cannot be shipped.
How long do I have to pick up my order?
You’ll have 90 days from the pickup notification to collect your bottles.
What happens if I don't pick up my bottles within 90 days?
If your order is not picked up within the 90-day pickup window, Garrison Brothers reserves the right to fulfill your order with an alternate product of equal or greater value.
What do I need to bring when I pick up my bottles?
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the original order.
Can someone else pick up my order for me?
No. The purchaser must pick up the order and present a valid ID matching the original purchase.
Can I cancel my order or receive a refund?
No. All Hye Rye presale purchases are final and non-refundable.
Will Hye Rye be available after the presale?
The presale is the only guaranteed way to reserve bottles in advance. Any additional availability at the release will be limited and is not guaranteed.
Can I purchase additional bottles at release?
The presale is limited to four bottles per customer. Any additional purchases at the release, if available, will be subject to inventory and applicable purchase limits.
What if the release date changes?
The anticipated release is October 2028, but timing may change. If it does, we’ll notify customers using the email address associated with their order.

Orders must be picked up in person at Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas within 90 days of notification. Bottles cannot be shipped. Customers are responsible for maintaining a current email address for all pickup communications. If not collected within the 90-day window, Garrison Brothers reserves the right to fulfill the order with an alternate product of equal or greater value.
