Brent Farmer

I am nominating Brent Famer for the following reasons. Mr. Farmer protects my most valuable asset in my life, my wife. My wife is the secretary at the high school. She is the very front line of defense for everyone in the building. She is the first person you see when the doors open at the school. She controls the locked doors allowing people in and out. Sometimes it can be a very scary job, as she is not professionally trained for this. Mr. Farmers office right behind her, and the security and peace of mind that he gives her is invaluable for me. As a husband and father, I’m so appreciative of the things that he does to keep my family and every other person in that school safe. Mr. Farmer also works outside of the school and deals with the drugs and crime that most of us only hear about on the news. On December 10th 2021, he was out helping the injured, scared citizens and protecting our homes and businesses that had just been leveled by a huge tornado. He is the frontline of protection for our small town of Mayfield. He has suffered so much stress for our community, and I would love for him to know how much we appreciate him.
