Clint Rosenbaum

Clint is the embodiment of public servant. After graduating from Texas A & M he worked as an engineer for a local engineering firm for many years. While busy with the everyday tasks of being one of few structural engineers in Abilene, TX, Clint became active in City government. He served on the Planning and Zoning Board for many years as a board member as well as the chairman. He has served on numerous committees in Abilene ranging from The Day School of Abilene to the Expo Center advisory council. Clint broke out on his own and started his own Engineering Firm a few years ago and has become one of the most sought-after engineers in the state of Texas. Clint will literally drop whatever he is doing to help a friend in need (I speak from experience.) Much of the artwork displayed around Abilene is because of Clint’s tireless dedication to the City of Abilene. Clint was a key contributor in The Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden at the Abilene Convention Center. It is a free, public garden in Abilene, Texas, featuring large bronze sculptures of beloved children’s book characters. Opened in 2017, this park is a key attraction of the “Storybook Capital of America,” showcasing, among others, characters from The Lorax and Charlotte’s Web. Clint also played a major role in the design and implementation of Vera Hall Minter Park, located in downtown Abilene, Texas (209 Cypress St). It features a small, scenic, and controlled waterfall popular for its relaxing ambiance, especially when lit at night. He has told me it was the best decision he ever made and has not looked back. He does not want the recognition; he just wants to get things done or fix things so they run more efficiently.
