I am nominating Josh Pack because he lives a life of service long after taking off the uniform. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, Josh continues to lead with the same discipline, integrity, and commitment that defined his military service. In his professional career, he serves in a leadership role where he helps connect individuals to meaningful employment opportunities across West Michigan. He has helped countless families find stability, growth, and financial security by building partnerships with local businesses and advocating for both employers and employees. He is not focused solely on results, but on relationships. His leadership style centers on accountability, mentorship, and empowering others to reach their potential. Beyond his career, Josh is deeply invested in his community. He coaches youth football, pouring hours into developing young athletes not just in skill, but in character. He teaches discipline, teamwork, resilience, and respect. Parents trust him. Kids look up to him. He uses sports as a platform to build confident young leaders. He also actively brings veterans together, organizing reunions and events that reconnect Marines who served together. These gatherings strengthen bonds, support mental well being, and preserve a brotherhood that many veterans rely on long after service. Josh leads in his home, in his workplace, and in his community. He does not seek recognition, yet consistently earns it through quiet service, steady leadership, and an unwavering commitment to lifting others up. For these reasons, he represents what it truly means to be a community hero.
