Kaitlyn Oquendo

My stepdaughter embodies service, sacrifice, and heart in everything she does. She graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate from Airman Leadership School, demonstrating exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to the Air Force core values. During the challenges of the COVID era, she volunteered to support Basic Military Training processing, stepping into an important mission that directly supported the readiness and well-being of new Airmen. She later earned the Commandant’s Award upon graduating from Military Training Instructor school, a recognition reserved for those who stand out through superior performance, character, and leadership. What makes her truly exceptional is not just her list of accomplishments, but the way she serves with humility, strength, and genuine commitment to others. She leads by example, rises to every challenge, and represents the very best of the American spirit through her selfless service and impact on those around her.
