Tickets on Sale, Saturday October 3 with all proceeds benefitting Texas Restaurant Foundation
Hye, Texas (August 5, 2026)- Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first and oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas, and Texas Restaurant Foundation are proud to announce the 5th annual Hye Steaks Cookout, an evening dedicated to raising funds while showcasing the best of bourbon, beef, and big Texas flavor. The fundraiser will be held at Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 6–9 PM, and will feature chef-led stations, auction items, and live music. Guests will also be included in a special experience with Garrison Brothers Master Distiller Donnis Todd.
In proud partnership with Nolan Ryan Beef, Bucker Creek Ranch, Wagyu X, Performance Fine Foods, and Key Allegro Oysters, Garrison Brothers’ on property hospitality team along with Texas-based chefs will be serving the finest in Texas steaks, handcrafted bourbon cocktails, and an exclusive From The Barrel tasting experience hosted by Master Distiller Donnis Todd. There will be eight different stations to sample one of a kind beef creations and plenty of cocktails. Texas Hill Country local wineries will be pouring the best in Texas wines for the special night as well.
Funds raised will benefit the Texas Restaurant Foundation, the charitable arm of the Texas Restaurant Association and the statewide leader in hospitality workforce development. Through education, workforce training, scholarships, career pathways, second-chance employment, and disaster relief, the Foundation develops the talent, strengthens the workforce, and builds the resilient restaurant communities that power Texas hospitality.
Additional Hye Steaks Cookout activations include the Cigar Corral, a new on property cigar lounge featuring Bariay 1492 – cigars for purchase and enjoyment. Garrison Brothers will also be selling a special Hye Steaks Cookout 2026 Cask Strength Single Barrel to guests. Jeff Jacobs Band will perform.
