About the Princess Peach
A frozen bourbon slush for the hottest days. Garrison Brothers HoneyDew is blended with frozen peach lemonade, then finished with a float of house-made blackberry balsamic shrub that bleeds down through the glass. Sweet peach, tart berry and a hint of spice from the bitters.
What is a shrub?
A drinking vinegar: fruit, sugar and vinegar turned into a sweet-tart syrup. Balsamic gives this one a deep, jammy flavor.
Can I make the shrub ahead?
Yes. It keeps in the fridge for up to three weeks, so make it a day or more before the party.
Can I make a pitcher?
Yes. Blend a full bottle of HoneyDew with about 68 oz of frozen peach lemonade and plenty of ice, in batches if needed. That's about 17 drinks. Pour, add the bitters and float ¾ oz of shrub on each.
