About the The Morning Glory
Sweet potato pie, poured over ice. The Morning Glory stirs Garrison Brothers Small Batch with a house-made sweet potato and ginger syrup, a little lemon and aromatic bitters, then finishes with rosemary. Earthy, warmly spiced and built for fall.
What does the sweet potato syrup taste like?
Like the filling of a sweet potato pie, with brown sugar and a ginger kick. It gives the drink body as well as flavor.
Can I make the syrup ahead?
Yes. It keeps in the fridge for up to two weeks. Shake it before using, since it can settle.
Can I use HoneyDew?
Yes. HoneyDew makes it softer and sweeter. Small Batch keeps it bold and lets the ginger shine.
