1½ ozGarrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon ½ ozPeach liqueur ½ ozFresh lemon juice 1 dashAngostura bitters TopSoda water GarnishDehydrated peach chips
Instructions
1Add the bourbon, peach liqueur, lemon juice and bitters to a shaker with ice. 2Shake hard until well chilled. 3Strain into a collins glass over fresh ice. 4Top with soda water. 5Garnish with dehydrated peach chips.
About the Saddle Up
A bright, easy ride. Garrison Brothers Small Batch is shaken with peach liqueur, fresh lemon and a dash of Angostura, then poured tall over ice and topped with soda water. Peach and lemon up front, bourbon spice underneath, bubbles all the way down.
Questions, answered
Which peach liqueur should I use?
Any good peach liqueur works. Giffard Crème de Pêche or Mathilde Pêche are richer and less sugary than peach schnapps.
How much soda water?
About 2 to 3 oz, enough to fill the glass. Add it last and stir once so it keeps its fizz.
Can I batch it for a party?
Yes. One 750 ml bottle of Small Batch makes about 17 drinks. Combine it with 8½ oz each of peach liqueur and fresh lemon juice and about ½ oz Angostura. Keep it cold, shake about 2½ oz per drink with ice, strain over fresh ice and top with soda.
