1½ ozGarrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon 1 ozAverna amaro ½ ozGrand Marnier 2 dashesCinnamon bitters
Instructions
1Add the bourbon, Averna, Grand Marnier and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. 2Stir until well chilled. 3Strain into a snifter over one large cube.
About the Red River Revival
A slow, fireside sipper with real depth. Garrison Brothers Small Batch is stirred with a full ounce of Averna amaro, Grand Marnier and cinnamon bitters, then served over a big cube in a snifter. Bittersweet caramel and orange, warmed with spice.

What is Averna?
A Sicilian amaro with caramel, orange and herbal notes. It's one of the softer, sweeter amari, so it pairs well with bourbon.
Why a snifter?
The wide bowl and narrow rim hold the aroma, so you get more of the orange and cinnamon with every sip.
Can I batch it for a party?
Yes. One 750 ml bottle of Small Batch makes about 17 drinks. Combine it with 17 oz Averna, 8½ oz Grand Marnier and about 1 oz cinnamon bitters. Add 10½ oz cold water, chill, and pour about 3½ oz per snifter over a large cube.
