About the Southern Socialite
The toast of the party. Garrison Brothers HoneyDew is shaken with Aperol, strawberry syrup, fresh lemon and Burlesque bitters, then topped with Prosecco in a flute. Bright, bubbly and just bittersweet enough, made for celebrations and good company.
What are Burlesque bitters?
Bitters from Bittermens with hibiscus, açaí and long pepper. They add a berry, peppery note. Any berry or aromatic bitters will work.
How much Aperol should I use?
Start with ¼ oz for a sweeter, fruitier drink. Go up to ½ oz if you like it more bittersweet.
How do I make strawberry syrup?
Simmer 1 cup of sliced strawberries with 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water for 10 minutes, let it cool and strain. It keeps in the fridge for about two weeks.
