This year marks the 58th celebration of the Stonewall Peach Jamboree and Rodeo, or as we like to refer to it around the ranch: “The greatest display of country, redneck-Americana one can possibly experience.” It certainly has a nice ring to it.
On Friday, June 21 through Saturday, June 22, Hill Country visitors will experience yet another year of celebrating our annual peach crop. Festivities include everything peach-related: from judging, eating and peach pit spitting competitions to crowning of the Stonewall Peach Parade Queen to a full-blown Parade and Rodeo.
The Peach Parade meanders through town early Saturday morning at 10 AM and similar to years past, Garrison Brothers Distillery will have a badass float in the parade — just be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the pretty girls.
Immediately following the parade, around 12:00, all are welcome back to Garrison Brothers Distillery for a fried yardbird buffet with all the trimmings. But make sure you arrive early because WE WILL RUN OUT OF CHICKEN! Lunch is first come, first-served.
We’ll be gettin’ our dance on to some great music throughout the afternoon, while auctioning off some of the most beautiful whiskey and wine barrels you’ve ever set your eyes on, courtesy of some crazy-talented artists.
Once again, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is BYOB. We’ll be asking $25 a person through May 21. After May 22, tickets are $35 per person and starting June 15, they’re $40 per person.
We are also selling all-access passes for $40 ($60 after May 22) that include friends and family pricing on gift shop merchandise, some bourbons, as well as access to lunch at the Garden Party at the bottom of the hill or in the barrel barn. Your choice.
The proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Hye Preservation Society. When tickets are sold out, well…it’s sold out. So, grab your tickets NOW!
