About the Hot Honey
Sweet heat in a glass. Garrison Brothers HoneyDew is shaken with fresh watermelon juice, dark agave nectar and lemon, then poured over ice in a chili-salt-rimmed glass. Juicy and honeyed up front, with a little spice on every sip.
How do I make watermelon juice?
Blend seedless watermelon chunks until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh strainer. One small wedge makes enough for a few drinks.
What chili salt should I use?
Tajín works well. Or mix flaky salt with a little chili powder and lime zest.
Can I batch it for a party?
Yes. One 750 ml bottle of HoneyDew makes about 17 drinks. Combine it with 34 oz watermelon juice and 8½ oz each of dark agave nectar and fresh lemon juice. Keep it cold, shake about 4½ oz per drink with ice and strain into rimmed glasses over ice.
