About the Lonestar Wildflower
Texas wildflower season in a coupe. Garrison Brothers HoneyDew, infused with Texas wildflower honey, is stirred with elderflower cordial and a few dashes of lemon bitters. Three ingredients, all of them floral, finished bright with a lemon peel.
What is elderflower cordial?
A sweet, non-alcoholic syrup made from elderflower blossoms. It tastes floral and a little like lychee. St-Germain elderflower liqueur works too, but it makes the drink a bit stronger.
Can I use Small Batch instead of HoneyDew?
Yes. Small Batch makes it drier and bolder. HoneyDew's honey is what makes it taste like a wildflower field.
Can I batch it for a party?
Yes. One 750 ml bottle of HoneyDew makes about 12 drinks. Combine it with 6¼ oz elderflower cordial and about 1½ oz lemon bitters. Add 6¾ oz cold water, chill, and pour about 3 oz into each chilled coupe.
