Bourbon Shepherd’s Pie Bites

Roasted red potato cups filled with seasoned beef, Garrison Brothers Bourbon Whiskey gravy, green peas, carrots and mashed potatoes, garnished with a chive baton.

1. Scoop out the centers of each half of red potato while they are warm and reserve them.
2. Mash the reserved potatoes and mix with the cheddar cheese.
3. Heat a medium sauté pan with butter on medium heat.
4. Add in the white onion and carrot, then cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the onions are translucent.
5. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
6. Add in the ground beef, salt and black pepper, then cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the ground beef is cooked.
7. Deglaze with Garrison Brothers Bourbon Whiskey, then fold in the beef gravy.
8. Once the filling has been brought to a simmer, stir in the green peas, then remove from the heat.
9. Fill each red potato with an even amount of the filling and top with a dollop of mashed potato mixture.
10. Garnish each with a chive baton.
